New Generation ASIMO, Honda's Humanoid Robot, Makes U.S. Debut at Consumer Electronics Show, Performances Produced by Martin Brinkerhoff Associat

The debut takes place at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Performances run several times daily, January 8-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center North Hall, Booth 4006.
ASIMO, billed as the world's most advanced humanoid robot, is known throughout the world and draws large crowds at the ASIMO attraction at Disneyland. MBA also produced the two-year national tour of universities, libraries and science centers that introduced ASIMO to the U.S.

MOTOMAN, the robotic division of Yaskawa Electric Corporation, announces that the first 13-axis dual-arm robot, MOTOMAN-DA20, has been sold to the system partner KP-Industri in Denmark. KP-Industri has in turn sold a system including the robot to IPL Group, which is a cell with double 3D vision systems – one vision system on each robot arm. The system will be assembling flanges onto cogwheels with diameters ranging from 25mm till 120mm.
